Notice at Collection
When you complete our assessment, we collect the categories below to connect you with debt relief companies you authorize. We sell this information (as "sell" is defined by California and other state laws) to the companies on our Marketing Partner List when you consent. We keep lead records for up to five years to document consent and meet legal obligations. You can opt out at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We do not perform a credit check.
How we use information
- To match and connect you with the debt relief companies you authorize.
- To contact you about your request, as permitted by your consent.
- To document consent and comply with the TCPA, Telemarketing Sales Rule, and state laws.
- To prevent fraud, secure our site, and improve our service.
Sensitive information
Some information you give us (debt amounts, payment status, hardship and income) may be considered "Sensitive Information" under certain state laws. We and TurboDebt use it only to provide the service you requested. To limit its use, submit a request on our Limit Sensitive Information page.
How we share information
- Marketing partners named on our Marketing Partner List, when you consent.
- Service providers that host our site, store data, and deliver communications under contracts that restrict their use.
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights.
- Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site and may use analytics and advertising technologies. Where these involve "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may opt out. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia), you may have the right to:
- Know or access the personal information we have about you.
- Delete or correct your information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Obtain a portable copy of your information.
- Appeal a decision on your request.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Retention
We keep lead and consent records for up to five years to meet legal obligations (the TCPA's four-year limitation period plus a buffer) and delete or de-identify them after that.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit and restricted access. No system is completely secure.
